Winners announced at North Notts Food and Drink Awards for 2019

Celebrity Cakes won top prize in the Confectioner Extraordinaire category at the North Notts Food and Drink Awards 2019. Food and drink heroes from across the region were celebrated at Made magazine’s inaugural North Notts Food and Drink Awards on Friday evening (October 25).

In the beautiful setting of Worksop College’s Great Hall, all the winners across 17 categories were announced at the dazzling event to an audience of more than 200 people from the region’s food and drink world. Celebrity Cakes who won top prize in the Confectioner Extraordinaire category. Celebrity Cakes’ director and sugar artist Tina Baird said: “The evening was fantastic, the building set the tone for something special. I was really surprised and proud to have won, as the awards represent all that is good about fine dining and excellent customer services in our area.”

The awards were presented throughout the night by well-known comedian, author and broadcaster, Dominic Holland, who opened the evening, while guests were also entertained throughout the event by broadcasters Pete and Tyles, magic and live music.

Headline sponsor for the event was North Notts BID with Warner Leisure Hotels sponsoring the Confectioner Extraordinaire award.
