Welcome to The Celebrity Cakes Academy! This gluten free Academy is owned and operated by Celebrity Cakes Ltd.

These Terms and Conditions are split into two sections:

• Section A: In-Person Masterclasses & Private Tuition

• Section B: Online Courses & Digital Content

By booking a place, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

 

SECTION A: In-Person Courses, Masterclasses & Private Tuition

1. Cancellations & Refunds

• 14 Days+ Notice: If you cancel more than 14 days before the class, you are entitled to a full refund or a free transfer to a future date.

• Less than 14 Days Notice: We cannot offer a refund, but we are happy for you to transfer your booking to a friend or family member. Please simply notify us of the name change.

• Less than 48 Hours Notice: Due to the preparation of ingredients and allocation of staff, bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice are non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Cancellations by Us: In the unlikely event that we must cancel a class (e.g., due to illness), you will be offered a full refund or a priority transfer to a new date. We are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred.

2. Workshop Safety & Conduct

• Kitchen Environment: This is a working kitchen. All students must wear flat, closed-toe shoes and practical clothing. Please bring an apron and a packed lunch for full day classes. 

• Safety: You agree to follow all safety instructions regarding the use of equipment (ovens, knives, mixers). We reserve the right to remove any student who acts dangerously or disregards safety instructions.

• Allergies: While The Gluten-Free Academy is a dedicated Gluten-Free environment, we handle other ingredients. It is the student’s responsibility to declare any other allergies (e.g., Nuts, Dairy) at the time of booking.

3. Content Usage

• You are free to replicate any recipe or design you learn in our classes for your own cake-making business. However, you are prohibited from teaching our specific course content or distributing our recipe booklets/materials as your own.

 

SECTION B: Online Courses & Digital Content

1. The Online Experience The Celebrity Cakes Academy offers a private online classroom experience with options for group coaching and live training.

2. Purchases and Fees

• Prices: The prices for our service are listed in each course offering. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time.

• Refunds: Due to the instant access to digital course materials, refunds will not be given for Online Courses under any circumstance once a purchase has been made.

3. Content Ownership

• Your Uploads: You represent that you own the rights to any content (images/designs) you upload to the community areas.

• Course Usage: You are free to replicate any design you learn for your own cake-making business. However, you may not resell or teach the course content without written consent from the Director of Celebrity Cakes Ltd.

4. Limitation of Liability To the extent permitted by law, Celebrity Cakes Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect damages arising out of or relating to the use of the Website, its content, or the Service and any course available from The Celebrity Cakes Academy.
